Before co-founding NTX Funds, Kyle founded Bluestone Partners in 2002, growing it into a successful construction and real estate development firm. In 2010, he co-founded Sapphire Group, and has served as Chairman of the Board for 15 years. Under his leadership, the firm has successfully completed over $250 million in real estate development projects across Texas, generating strong returns for investors.
With over twenty years of experience in the industry, Kyle takes immense pride in the teams he has built along the way. He believes success stems from surrounding himself with great people and fostering a culture founded on trust, integrity, and long-term impact.
He holds a degree in Finance from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. Kyle resides in Sherman, Texas, with his wife, Ashley, and their two children, Clay and Avery. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and pickleball.
Principal
Drake is an Architect and Principal at NTX Funds, bringing 20 years of experience in design, development, and construction. With a background in architecture and engineering, he takes a hands-on approach to delivering well-designed, high-quality projects built for long-term success.
Drake has earned a reputation for effectively managing the complexities of real estate development. He works closely with city officials, planning departments, and community leaders to ensure projects meet regulatory requirements while enhancing the surrounding community. His ability to bridge the gap between design vision and practical execution makes him a vital part of the NTX Funds team.
A licensed architect since 2009, Drake earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Frisco with his wife, Lauren, and their two sons, Keaton and Mercer.
Principal
Driven by a passion for creating value through real estate, Barry has spent the past 15 years building a versatile career in Real Estate Investment and Development. As co-founder of Sapphire Group, he has led a wide range of projects spanning Industrial, Retail, Medical Office, and Multi-Family properties. From executing value-add strategies to delivering ground-up developments, his career is defined by adaptability, innovation, and a results-driven approach. With a vast industry network and deep market knowledge, Barry is committed to identifying opportunities and creating lasting value.
Barry lives in North Texas with his wife, Caitlin, and their two sons, Brooks and Ford. Whether cultivating strong relationships or exploring new investments, he approaches every venture with dedication, strategy, and a focus on meaningful growth.
Director of Asset Management
Casey is the Director of Asset Management at NTX Funds, where he leads portfolio performance, oversees investment underwriting, and works closely with partners on strategic planning and development initiatives.
Since joining Bluestone Partners in 2020, Casey has contributed to key real estate and development projects, bringing a sharp focus to asset management and investment evaluation while driving long-term growth strategies.
Before transitioning to real estate, Casey held corporate management roles in the oilfield services industry, where he developed expertise in managing assets, streamlining operations, and optimizing resource efficiency.
Casey holds a BBA in Finance and Economics and an MBA from Midwestern State University. He lives in Sherman with his wife, Jenna, and their three kids.
Director of Development
Rocky brings over 30 years of experience in land development and construction, playing a key role in transforming raw land into successful projects of all sizes. From site selection and planning to infrastructure development and final construction, he ensures every stage is executed with precision. His expertise in construction management, budgeting, contract negotiation, and project oversight keeps developments on track and aligned with long-term goals.
Beyond his technical skills, Rocky has built many professional relationships with contractors, engineers, designers, and municipalities across the region to help streamline the development process and ensure projects move forward efficiently and successfully.
He holds a degree in Business Management and Accounting.
Director of Finance
As Director of Finance, Joy oversees NTX Funds’ financial health by collaborating with other senior leaders to align investment strategies with the fund’s long-term goals. She ensures regulatory compliance and provides financial information to investors to maintain strong relationships. Her 35 years in public accounting provide her with insight and knowledge in evaluating the acquisition of potential real estate assets and tenants to optimize asset allocation and ultimately drive the fund’s success.
Joy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida State University.
Director of Administration
In her role as the Director of Administration at NTX Funds, Susan plays a key part in fostering smooth workflows and providing valuable support for the firm’s investment goals. With her dynamic expertise, she has offered extensive help in areas like human resources, insurance, and client services. Boasting over 17 years of experience in administrative leadership across a variety of industries, Susan’s commitment to excellence truly reflects her passion for advancing NTX Funds’ mission of delivering exceptional value to its investors.
Susan earned her BBA from Baylor University. She and her husband, Dennis, have been married for 40 years and are proud parents of three children and grandparents to five.
Senior Asset Manager
With two decades of experience in real estate, Courtney adopts a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to each project. Early in her career, she gained invaluable experience collaborating with builders on single-family developments, igniting her passion for construction and development.
Since joining Bluestone in 2021, Courtney has broadened her expertise to include property management, overseeing a diverse portfolio across various asset classes. She focuses on building strong relationships with owners, tenants, third-party brokers, management teams, and vendors.
Courtney utilizes her extensive industry knowledge, enthusiasm for innovation, and steadfast commitment to excellence to create lasting value in the community and the properties she manages, all while maximizing returns for NTX Funds’ investment partners.
Development Manager
Lisa joined the team in 2022, bringing with her an impressive wealth of experience. With over 20 years in the construction industry, she holds expertise in a variety of areas. Her extensive knowledge spans residential and commercial projects related to both construction and development. Thanks to her skills in regulatory relations, municipal and client interactions, due diligence, permitting, planning and zoning, project planning and management, job costing oversight, and scheduling, Lisa ensures smooth and successful project completions. Beyond her professional achievements, Lisa treasures the time spent with her husband, their two daughters, and her three grandsons, making wonderful memories together.
Acquisitions Associate
Will joined the Bluestone and Sapphire team as an Acquisitions Associate in 2023 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University. A licensed Texas real estate agent and native of North Texas, he has facilitated the purchase and sale of numerous commercial properties across the state during his brief tenure. He plays a crucial role in sourcing and acquiring NTX Funds’ projects. When he is not working, Will enjoys spending his free time with friends, family, and his dog, Goose, and is an avid Dallas sports fan.
Before joining the team, Will interned at Trinity Real Estate Investment Services and Matthews Real Estate Investment Services.
Acquisitions Consultant
Chris brings over 20 years of experience in the national corporate restaurant sector, covering management, site selection, and brand development. He later transitioned into private consulting for local restaurants, small business startups, and chains. After stepping out of the restaurant industry, Chris shifted his focus to personal finance and real estate, becoming a financial advisor with licenses in securities, real estate, and insurance.
Currently, Chris has built a consulting career in Commercial Real Estate, concentrating on retail NNN investments, multifamily units, and hotel/restaurant sectors. He graduated with honors from the University of Tulsa, earning degrees in Finance/Real Estate and Management, along with a minor in International Business.
